then explain why the oil coming out of the spark plug hole is gold (motor oil) and not blue (2-cycle oil).

ok I should have been more specific. It is the oil in the transmission that is getting into the cylinder, it is not 2-cycle oil! i can kick the bike over without the spark plug in but when installed I can't (too much oil and you can't compress a liquid).

crankcase oil getting in cylinder
I recently acquired an '84 spree for free and now I know why. I tried to kick the motor over and it moved about 6 inches, i pulled the spark plug and then tried again and motor oil is coming out of the plug hole. Any ideas on what is wrong and how to fix it?
