haha, yeah. i though about a darker shade of red. but mainly looking at cost to visual appeal. The only decent red i can get is about $22 to paint the main body panels, where as the black was half that. and thats before primer and clear.

I'm thinking of going matte black all over. Possibly red for the leg shield inside a.nd foot panels

got the under cowl in from Baka, have a little trimming to do but looks good over all. Finally decided on paint and will get on that after the exhaust gets here.

head gasket.

its just a steel water bottle i got at the dollar store. the threads were crap and ended up cross threading on the third use, but there are better made ones that will work fine. Side note the would give me roughly half a tank.

update, leo vince sp3 exhaust should be here by wednesday, under cowl from baka should arrive monday, removing the head to shave .025" tonight. looks like a good week of improvements ahead of me. EDIT: shaved .025 off of the head, noticeable improvement in acceleration and torque. new spark plu...

it was the leo vince exhaust, it was in stock when i placed the order, then the next day i checked and it was now out of stock but after the order form was completed and processed. i didnt see and shipping restriction on it.

im trying to get one from sip, i made the order and it went from in stock to out, so i either got their last one or someone ordered around the same time as me. only other exhaust im able to get my hands on is stock from a dealer.

wheelman, isnt the leovince 4447 for the 87 elite, that was the 4445. just asking.

Has anyone ordered from them? I ordered an exhaust well over a week ago, i cant get ahold of them via email, and my payment is still pending and nothing but an email saying the order has been received and ill be notified when its shipped.

ok so for the 2 stroke rookies, any advice? proper size jets, any special tuning?

i see a lot of people with the trans case cut in half, what is the purpose of this is it cooling, looks, to fit bigger parts?

Also what kinda of performance does installing a new clutch change?
