Re: Tired of water in your free-flow air filter?
My garage works just fine, but it was a lot more expensive than a dollar. I didn't think people owned these things with a covered place to park

Re: DERP BUILD Honda SE50P
deffenitly need some new gears, and they aren't just drop in. You must first buy all the gears out of a dio block. Then you can get aftermarket dio gears.

niftyman wrote:For $50 here you could get your covers polished up to look like that im getting my se50 covers done
only problem with that is would scratch very easily and polished aluminum can be a bit a bit of work to keep looking good

Re: I'm going crazy. Losing spark when hitting bumps/pitch d
If its electrical, it will die instantly. If its fuel it will bog and then die. Sounds like its electrical from your description. Get a rubber mallott and start tapping stuff. You probably have a bad connection somewhere. Or you have a short somewhere and your ignition is grounding out.

Re: Using a 3pole switch for ignition. So wiring?
the aero i have doesn't have an ignition lock, So it has an ordinary switch. Turn the stitch on and hit the start button. When finished, turn the switch off and then hit the kill switch up by the throttle

I don't think that would work.dun rite wrote:if you get free machine work, why couldn't you have the crank turned down from the 2.9

Re: Difference between se50 and dio cranks?
well that sucks. I know a guy that will do machining for me for free, but if it can't be done, it can't be done.
oh well. Im probably already going faster than i should be on a spree frame and hopefully i'll be going even faster, soon, with my bigger carb coming tomorrow.

Re: Difference between se50 and dio cranks?
The rotating assembly on the dio is 2.9 inches the se50 is 2.6 Huge difference! It will never work....there is not enuff room inside the se50 case for a dio crank. gotcha, and that it would hit could not be dremelled out? edit: http://i751.photobucket.com/albums/xx159/trafficjamz2/100_0370.jpg is t...

Difference between se50 and dio cranks?
I'm just wondering what the difference is between the 80's elites cranks and the dio's. I looked at an exploded diagram and they use the same picture, but ive heard people say they aren't the same. Just wondering if its possible to put a stroker crank in my scooter or if they are 100% totally differ...

From what I understand that carb is massively oversized. Whether that actually hurts performance, I don't know. Have you done a plug chop at various speeds?

Re: 1986 Aero50 kick starts, but not with starter
Only thing I can think of is the.voltage drop from having to turn the motor, but that doesn't make sense because the charging system and the ignition system are not electrically linked. Maybe you kick faster than the starter motor
