running 8 to 4 to 1 gears with 9 gram weights on the keli variator i know its not tuned super well but its running at 1/4 throttle the hole time if it would just make the transititon to higher rpms this think would scream! But it only runs 30 now. And when it comes to jetting it runs better the smal...

im not trying to get every ounce of power out of the scooter its just not getting into high rpm at when goin down the rode. It will rev up when on the stand but doesnt have any power goin down the road

So my rollers arent allowing it to hit higher rpm there 9 gram i believe?

72cc polini not running at its full potential
have a 99 elite installed bbk 8 4 1 grears keli clutch and keli variotor. It will get up to about 35 and im not pushing many rpms at all. I tryed running a 88 main in it and it was way to rich so i drill out the stock 68 to about a 70 somethin and i got a lot more noticable power. It just gets to a ...

i think hes talkin about needle position clip in the slide of the carb. I havent checked that yet since i got the scooter. Ill take the carb apart tommorrow and inspect float and seat aswell. I will check bystarter tmrw too. Its a bummer to put all this work in this scooter and cant even get it to r...

should the needle position be set a litttle more leaner i havent check to see where its at now. Whats a good place to start position wise. the motor only get up to 220 degrees so thats runing really rich

petcock valve possibly bad
If a petcock valve is bad when you pull the fuel line off the carb should it drain the entire tank of gas. My 99 elite that i just put a 72cc bbk stock exhaust and airbox with a 88 main. It only goes 15 and gets to a certain rpm and wont go any farther i think its running really rich from the petcoc...

I didnt rev it up right off the bat i would start it let it run for about 15 mins and shut it off and let it cool down did that about 3 or four times. punched second tab out. which screw is it the top one to adjust air to fuel and which way should i turn it.

2000 elite s just got done rebuildin with new kit keli vari and clutch and eight to four to one gears. Stock airbox and exhaust(unrestricted) running a 88 main jet. Scooter fires up first kick and idles fine just does not rev up like it should at all gets to a certain rpm just past quarter throttle ...
