Figured out what the problem was low compression the rings were so worn that it just had blow bye. Put new rings and gasket. Runs like a new one it will go a little over 40 with the keli vari other than that its completley stock

The only thing i havent checked was the exhaust pipe it could be plugged up but had good flow coming out of the pipe when running Thats the only thing i havent gone through would that make it very hard to start

Ive had reeds off they looked fine doesnt seem to be a leaky gasket Its not a carb issues cause i have to functioning carbs and neither make a difference would put both to factory settings and doesnt do nothing but sputter a little bit and and die

Put a new plug in nothin. its got a chinese lookin coil and plug wire could it be getting to much spark. Or could it be the reeds?

Yea cause thats the only way to get it to start and once i can get it to rev out its fine but it has good compression its getting fuel and getting plenty of spark but if a plug is fouled will it not run correctly or not at all.

1994 elite 50 sr starting problem!

got a elite the other day didnt run but looks really good for year and 4 k milage cleaned carb and air box and filter got it running. And runs great once started nothing wrong with it pulls good stops good. but now its really hard to start when cold i replaced the buttefly valve/choke that i had off...

72cc polini 24mm oko powerjet carb( dk jet sizes whatever stock is) with bigger intake, uni filter, 8 to 4 to 1 gears keli clutch keli vari stock pipe. Carb is at stock settings and has good take off and acceleration onlyat 1/2 throttle, bogs when past 3/4 to full

my 99 elite 72cc kit ,24mm oko carb and intake with stock pipe still wants to run hot and lose power i notice on the temp gauge and shut it off before it does get hot and do any damage. Clutch Pulley Bent?

when replacing clutch spring and clutch i bent the clutch pullley a little when depressing old spring off the pulley its not bent severly but when i get into high rpm on scooter it makes a winding noise and bucks once then dies. yep thats what its doing its like riding around quarter throttle the whole time at about 30. I hope thats my problem then i can fine tune from there hopefully

keli clutch and stock spring ive got a 2k center spring im gonna put on tmrw and my stock 8g weight you think that will help make the transition to higher rpm
