80/90~10's or 2.75~10's (same tire) fit, you have to angle the back a little. A lot of my confusion was info got from a friend and the thought that I had stock tires.....but in the real world it had a 2.75 on the back and a 2.50 in the front..... I made an assumption I of all people should have know...

Well, with the weather being nasty, no adventures for a bit. The new to me fender/air box is on and no more rubbing!! Also, got the tail light figured out, going back to stock and it's study enough to mount some blinkers to....the stock blinkers are too DOT and up tight for me, like I'm being oppres...

I work on dirty motorcycles all day, I don't have to at home. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not a clean freak, but mechanical dirt and road dirt are two different things. Mechanical dirt is evil, it comes from lack of maintenance and neglect. Road dirt is just dirt, dry earth hanging from the bike aft...

Dropped by work and scored a better air box and filter, also grabbed the stock tail light!!
Fuel line and such is done....still more cleaning.

Tires on, brakes cables lubed and inspected, bearings, shoes, most of the scooter proper is semi clean. Going for new gas and vacuum line shortly. Hand controls polished up a little. Plastics are still ugly, I don't really care for the moment. I still need to paint and re-grease the head set bearing...

I know they've been talked to death, and on some my other motorcycle boards every time someone posts about oil or tires a kitten dies. Well, I done some searching, come up empty handed and I don't like cats so here goes. I think Western Power Sports send me the wrong tires. They're golden boys 80/90...

Thanks Mike, I wasn't sure. I pretty much fly through the bikes I take apart at work, and couldn't remember. So not really practical on the Connie kit.....bummer.

Now now......we all know that's it is illegal to ride or drive impaired. Not only is it dangerous, but expensive and can lead to incarceration and involuntary butt bonking.

Think I'm just gonna mount some signals to the front panel and call it good.
