the aero engine runs hot and they don't make gears for it so the only way to make it scream is to do a dio engine conversion but not for $200 more like $2,000 ha! ha! i love my killer aero!

if you can afford $600 they are direct bolt ons and no mods needed, i know cuz i have themon my sweet killer aero

biturbo are useless, the "J" end from the exhaust is to smal, i ran them 25yrs ago and they sucked

A real japan dio will do 55mph just by changing the cdi out, now thats a sweet scoot which you will never seein the u.s.

If you run a new belt you can get a shim kit from vt cycles for about $3 put them between the boss & ramp this bottoms out the belt for more top end and as the belt wears just add one to keep your speed up, i just use a trans washer which does the same.

Automotive belts are made for low rpm and have a different angle cut, you could put a washer between the ramp and boss, this will bottom out the belt and not stall the engine.

Just change your gear ratio and vt cycles also sells high speed cooling fans along with center spring race bearings which i bought the last ones, that trick you guys don't know about LOL!

The aero seems to hold its value, make sure the plastics are in good shape.

myspree is wrong about the 80cc taiwan bore kit which is a joke, but the current price for the "S" engine is $600 and with either a malossi or polini 72cc bore kit is the most reliable everyday rider as i have 76,000 mi. on mine.

Try building a bad * engine first

It could be as simple as worn ramp guides, if i was able to ride your scoot i would find every mistake that you have made, ride what i build and its perfection, after 20yrs. i learned from the best shops!
