What make/model do you want to modify, i just broke a belt at 85mph and im still here, did the japan rear pulley mod and forgot to run the wider japan belt, never exceed your ability to control speed its the reason i am still alive :wink:

Yea glue is never used on seats, go to an upholstry shop and ask for some carbon fiber material in black.

It may not be the cable but the brake cam, pull the hub sand the shaft down and use white lithium grease, its good to 20 degrees below zero.

The last elite-s/sr were sold in 02 but the vin will say 01, the next best will be the kimco zx-50 with the identical honda engine last model was 05 next is the current sym dd-50 the engine is identical to the elite-s but not sold on the mainland, my last pic would be the cpi/gtr-50 or oliver.

9 to 1 gears are for stock honda derestricted engines, 8 to 1 are for bore kits like yours, i have a used set for $20 plus shipping, i just went on the mrp website and it looks like you just spent $399 for that kit!

check the clearance on the the rear shock side, 3.25 tubes will give you a wider profile or metric 90x90x10 tires which are wider.

For your weight buy a 5 way adjustable shock and start with #3 if it still scrapes check the spring on the center stand or remove it and use a kick stand.
