Re: What Temp and other bits

Hi,

Yep did loads of heat cycling and done about 200 - 300 miles at low revs to break it in. Did not go wot until after that. To lean it out is it an option to use less oil or is adjusting the carb better?

cheers

Re: What Temp and other bits

It runs fine. Happy with speed and acceleration but just don't want to do any damage to it if its running really rich?

Re: Kick Start Spindle Bush

It slides in with a bit of grease but once in it is firm?

I was not sure if it should spin like the spindle inside it?

Re: UK Honda Vision NE50 MF - newbie performance advice soug

Hi, There is a disc of metal in the end of the pipe that bolts to the cylinder. Its held on with a small spot weld. I just dremmeld it of and removed the disc. Basically it allows more air to go through. http://www.malossistore.co.uk/Prodotto.aspx?type=M&MM=MO/HOVI50&C=38 7157 The link above...

Re: trail tech vapor

For the Trailtech Vapor, temp and power leads may be cut and extended with any reasonable sized wire. The wire will not cause temperature accuracy issues that thermocouple CHTs would see with an extension. So am I better extending the temperature wire myself or should I buy the extension cable? Als...

Re: Oil Plug blown Out!!!!!!

That picture is what I'd envisioned as the retaining scheme. Hard for that to blow out... Hi Noiseguy, I had it plugged in without the retainer so it was basically just staying in on the o ring. I looked on the wikispreedia and saw a picture with someone just pushing it in and it did not show a ret...

Re: Oil Plug blown Out!!!!!!

sometimes the plug wont sit flush with block so you need to add a washer or two on top of the plug. This is trafficjamz picture. looks like this plug is flush with the block. http://i751.photobucket.com/albums/xx159/trafficjamz2/IMAG0738.jpg Mines definately not flush. I did take a couple of mm off...

That was my next step. I presume they are solid aluminium? I justt was not sure it was at the end where it was getting stuck but I suppose its not gonna hurt if I take it off the end and it still does not fit.
