Re: 79 Honda NC50 Express, barn fresh.
Thanks for the brake pics and supplier source. I will get some soon. Bike seems to be starting better after running a little bit. I found out why it is so loud. Someone drilled 4 holes in the side of it, probably thought it would run faster. I stuck four bolts in the holes and wired them so they wou...

Re: 79 Honda NC50 Express, barn fresh.
Well, I ground the melt job flush (motor side), drilled out the melted bolt hole, dremmeled out the O-ring grove ( slightly melted a little bit)..Man what a goof. Anyway, I got it running. Took alot of cranks to finally run, but eventually once it started good it ran pretty good. It is loud though. ...

Re: 79 Honda NC50 Express, barn fresh.
Well, I tried a little heat to get the choke slide out. It came out. However i must have been in too much of a hurry because it warped one ear where it bolts back on. I will have to drill out the hole even, hope I didn't ruin it. Anyway If I need a new carb does anyone know if a 1980 express will fi...

Re: 79 Honda NC50 Express, barn fresh.
Hey Guys, I just bought a 1978 Honda Express at an auction, orange, I will post a pic later. Anyway mine seems to be in good condition. It has spark, I cleaned the tank. Attempting to clean the carb in a dip tank the choke cable is really stuck. No air breather either, so I will try to find somethi...

Re: 1984 or 85 honda gyro part
Yes,
I realize they are different, my hope was to see if i could make it work perhaps with some modification. Any ideas on this? It appears to be there to channel air from underneath while driving and could work even if a little different in size. Thanks.

1984 or 85 honda gyro part
Hi I bought a 84 gyro on ebay and now have it running, but come to find out it is missing some important parts. The first part is the air duct that channels air to the motor fan. I notice when riding for awhile that it makes a fluttering noise, after cooling off it seems to go away. Not sure what ma...

Re: 1984 honda gyro part?
Thanks Zuphilius,
Mine snapped while trying to free it up. I will look for one off an Aero 50 (1984 or 85)

1984 Honda Gyro Front brake cable
Hello,
Anyone know if a front brake cable for a 84 gyro is same size as on another year honda, having trouble finding a cable. Or any ideas how to free up a stuck cable, I have tried soaking in vinegar and carb dip bucket.
Thanks
