Re: 85 Aero 50 Fuel system quesiton
Hey MouseWheels THANK YOU! I looked all over the manual to find those figures but just couldn't find them. I found Some Tygon see thru green fuel lines on ebay in both 3/16 and 1/8 Inner Diameter fuel lines, and the already ordered the fuel filter that Bear recommended earlier. I'll post up again on...

Scooter: 85 Honda Aero 50 I have been trying to find parts for my fuel system. I need to replace the fuel lines and add a fuel filter. I ordered some stuff offline that was way off and didn't fit at all. Took bears advice and found the fuel filter: FILTER, FUEL 16910-GB2-900 from a previous post. I ...

Re: NB 50 carb question.
It clogs non stop. Only works for a week after being cleaned. Considering replacing to see if problem stops. While im at it, i've noticed bear talk about new fuel lines and adding a fuel filter... Might not be a bad idea to add this as well. Where can i purchase these items, and where do you install...

Carb Cleaning Tools?
Anyone know of a cheap air compressor that will be good enough to clean out a 50 cc carb? I look on ebay, and see the ones that plug into your lighter port, but now sure if thats strong enuff. What do you guys use? I ordered a small set of wire tools that works well, but only lasts a week or 2, then...

had the same problem. Ur runnin lean. Turn ur air mix screw all the way in to the right, then check you manual for base setting, mine was 1 1/4 turn to the left. Choking problem solved. Get a tach and fine tune ur machine. Im runnin an 85 aero 50, its never been faster, hits 40 no problem.

Re: 85 Aero 50 HELP!!!!
Ok, so im running i nice rich mix right now, and the bike is running super smooth. The only issue now is the speed, for some reason its topping out at 34-35 mph, before it would go up to 40 no problem. It also takes a while to hit that 35. Is this my new air mix setting that is slowing her down? How...

Re: Can't start 88 elite...wet plug
Buy a new spark plug, in fact buy 2, they're like a couple bucks each. Then test spark to make sure it's bright blue before you hook it back up. Check your manual on what spark will fit your model.

Re: 85 Aero 50 HELP!!!!
Yea, i think you're right bear. Scooter is still starting right up, i'm off tomorrow so i'll probably take the fairing off and get a richer mixture going tomorrow. I did go ahead and order that tachometer that you recommended. It seems pretty simple. All i have to do is wrap that red wire from the t...

Re: 85 Aero 50 HELP!!!!
my dash doesn't show rpm, i just looked up a couple 2 stroke digital tachometers, and they are lookin kind of expensive. Not tryna spend 50-100 bucks, for that i can just a mechanic do it. Is there an easier way to do this? What the norm settings for a 85 Aero 50 if the manual is just the starting p...

Re: 85 Aero 50 HELP!!!!
OK, so i got her up n running. Fires up instantly, and sounds better than ever, but now theres a new problem. While driving i've noticed it slipping. When i am turning the throttle i feel the bike die for a second or two then keeps going. Why is it choking like this? Is it that the carb isn't fully ...
