I watched the slide multiple times and concluded it was working properly.
There was also no air leak according to your test.

Re: 85' Aero Running Away issue- after 2 chem dipped carbs
Here are pictures of the carb on the bike, I got fed up and decided to blow off some steam by polishing it.

85' Aero Running Away issue- after 2 chem dipped carbs
I am thoroughly frustrated. My 1985 Aero starts up, but when I give it throttle it slowly takes off then stays up in the high revs and won't come down unless I turn it off. Ruled out the throttle cable already by borrowing one from a friends that worked and it still had the same problem. After I tho...

Re: Honda Aero running lean! How do I fix?
Here's a picture of the spark plug... Doesn't look "lean" to me.
By the way, bike in the background is a nt650. Any other hawk riders around here?

Re: Honda Aero running lean! How do I fix?
Yes, It does rev fairly high, but I did install the cable correctly and checked it already.

Honda Aero running lean! How do I fix?
Howdy! I recently bought a Honda Aero 50 (1985) and I got it to run (after spark plug new batt new airfilter) but when I give it gas, the engine revs up, but won't come down! I think this means it is running lean. I cleaned the carb thoroughly (ultrasonic) but this issue persists. It will start easy...

Honda Spree final drive/transmission problems- STUMPED
So I finally got my spree back up to snuff after a troublesome engine swap. (stock) The thing starts up unbelievably easy and idles away forever. Super great. However, when I took it out for a test ride, the scooter's engine revved waaay up and didn't move the scooter that much. After a short trip a...

Re: Honda Spree- Stock Engine Swap- NO SPARK
Alright, I've spent all night and this morning trying to figure this out!
Bought a new NGK spark plug, no spark.
Charged up the battery even more, no spark.
Hooked it up to my old engine, NO SPARK.

Re: Honda Spree- Stock Engine Swap- NO SPARK
I've already checked basic connections, but I didn't find anything! Everything is plugged in all the way. Thank you for the knowledge!

Honda Spree- Stock Engine Swap- NO SPARK
So recently, my bearings went bad in my '86 spree engine. Ordered another engine- turned out to be an '85 engine, and all was going cool until, no spark! Hooked up everything else, still no spark. THEN I noticed an extra wire and tracked it to the bottom of the case where there was a small magnet li...

Re: Honda spree- partially stuck piston EXPERT NEEDED
Thanks so much for the input! I think I might just swap in a new engine though, there are too many special tools to buy. Too bad, I was looking forward to learning how to redo the bottom end and learn something. Anyone have a spare spree engine?

Re: Honda spree- partially stuck piston EXPERT NEEDED
Again excuse my lack of experience, but which bearings do I need? Is the process self explanatory or difficult? Are seals like gaskets and which do I need? Thank you all so much for your help already. Here's the link to the website with the bearings I might need: http://www.powersportsplus.com/parts...

Re: Honda spree- partially stuck piston EXPERT NEEDED
It still runs ok though, should I just put back together and use or will it worsen?
Where do I get these bearings you speak of?

Re: Honda spree- partially stuck piston EXPERT NEEDED
Hold on, excuse my lack of experience but the cylinder is off and the crank still had the tough point! It still goes past, just with some difficulty. I don't think it would have to do with the rings because it has the sticking point without the cylinder on!! BTW- I bought a very cheap kit off ebay- ...
