Re: seat foam

Amazon has lots of gel pads for sale. I see a lot of ruck guys that shave their seats and then add a gell pad or memory foam pad in the middle of the seat to make it more comfortable even though it's thinner.

Re: My 85 AERO 50 "ERRL"

Took the aero for a couple short rips up the street and back to feel the glory and glory I felt. My vapor needs a new battery so I don't have my cht or tach readings so I didn't want to ride much. But man did she feel smooth, throttle response on the Dellorto 25mm is amazing and the scorp man does s...

Re: trail teck speedo

I think he means a mount for the speedo sensor? I made one for the front took about 10 minutes. The kit comes with a bracket that's works for the rear.

The AF16 or "Dio" motor is the favorite here on the forum. It has a great aftermarket scene has some awesome 72cc bores and can be built up to 125cc.

Re: New member! Honda elite S, seeking more speed

The stock variators are junk. Any aftermarket varaitor even the $25 eBay ones are more useful. Which aftermarket one did you buy? I would also drop to about a 36 gram load and throw in a 1k center spring. How's your belt?

Re: Rear race clutch for big stroker motor

I'm attempting to upload a video of the break in run, half thottle forces it into 10.5k and it grips great. I'm running malossi 16/32 primary gears with a pirelli diablo 130/70-12 so this clutch is taking some abuse from a dead stop. I can't wait to open her up. Sounds sweet! I have a polini 2 shoe...

Re: Gy6 Aero50

I've seen a couple spree gy6s not that difficult really especially if you find a bottom mount gy6 then it would be a piece of cake. The hard part is building a mount for a top mount gy6. Why gy6?

I forgot you will also need a drive face from a kicker model as well because your drive face is smooth and doesn't have the teeth required for the kicker to engage.

Re: DIY Stretch mod

I did my cut where it's straight so that when the back half is welded back on it has the same turn down as stock. I did this with both of my mounts. Also uses square stock but put it inside of the mount. If you cut in the right spot it's a perfect fit. http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m133/Curtis9...

Re: Can I add a Kick Start to a 1985 Aero?

I'm not sure you can drill a hole and add the parts nor do I think it would be cost effective. But you can get he cover from another af05e motor from later aeros or elites and it bolts right on.
