Re: Where to buy new parts?
Cool thanks a ton guys! I was kind of skeptical about ebay but since everyone seems to be recommending it I'll try and give it a shot. Also in regards to a honda dealer I assume we are talking about a honda powersports dealer and not a car dealer? Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Where to buy new parts?
Hey guys and gal, I had a general question of where to buy new parts for my 85 nb50? I'm restoring it and for most things I'm okay with buying parts off of the forum but I need new rear brake pads and I really feel like those should be new. So I was wondering which places have been good to the membe...

Re: Battery needed to kickstart?
Update:
Got the new battery in, got a fresh tank of gas and cranked the * of out it, after about 20 seconds of sputtering she ran strong! I think the carb was gunked up and it just needed to get some pressure through it! Thanks for the help!

Re: Battery needed to kickstart?
Ah okay, any thoughts on why it isn't starting then? I bought a new battery also haven't popped it in yet. It sat all winter in a shed with an empty gas tank and no battery.

Battery needed to kickstart?
I have an 86' Spree and I just brought it out after storing it for the winter. I was wondering since the battery is dead (I did keep it inside and warm) can you start the spree?
Thanks,

Cold Weather= Spree won't start
My 85 spree has been running great all season, but the past few days have been cold/rainy and I store my spree outside, now it won't kick start (the taillight does come on and when I kick the front headlight lights up a little). I don't use my electric start since the battery to my knowledge is dead...

Re: 86 Honda Spree Won't Start
Okay I got it to start, but I had to get it rolling and kick start it? I'm thinking about doing a compression test and changing the spark plug for good habit.

86 Honda Spree Won't Start
I bought a beautiful 86 honda spree about three weeks ago, rode the thing around all weekend. Then I left it sitting for 3 weeks and on accident left the knob on "run" instead of "off" and now I can't kick start it. It has fresh gas and plenty of oil, any thoughts on why it's not...

85 Aero restoration (slowly but surely)
Alright I am a college student who loves anything that runs off of gasoline, with that being said I have recently purchased a 1985 Honda Aero with a title for the wonderful price of 75 bucks! (non-running of coarse). It is not in terrible shape for what it is, last time it ran was a few years back. ...
