not that tube,the one that extends from bottom of carb body into flat bowl.(pilot circuit?)it has a micro hole one can poke a guitar string through.

no i never tested it wot it read 75 lbs. dry + wet with throttle closed.

i forgot to hold throttle open.i put regular oil in plughole+immidiatly cranked it+still 75 lbs.

bear was right,i put a better compression tester (the screw in hose type)+compression read 75 that seams low w new piston,rings,honing.ill clean carb better.

soaked it all in acetone for 2 weeks,pushed out the "main jet? thing w the little holes blew air + carb clean every wich way ,even that hole in bowl bottom.

hi,i purchased an 85 spree basket case,guy said it siezed+he broke new ring assembling it.it came w new DOMED PISTON+HEAD (old ones were flat)i measured cylinder its within specs,honed it but ring would not colapse enogh w expansion ring under it.(i notice aftermarket pistons dont have the third oct...
