Have oil pump running....overnight soak in parts washer unplugged it. Now can get the spree to start with no throttle with idle mixture set to 1.875 turns and idle throttle position screw at 1 turn. Got it to idle for like 2-3 minutes....but the minute I touch the throttle it dies. Air cleaner in it...

Perfect advice Noise, will do that tonight and post. Thanks for the guidance that will be useful, since the manual embellishes the oil coming out for illistration purposes. I did take the pump out of the washer around midnight, and when vacuum was applied on the outlet, I could hear suction on the i...

Needs to be a 12v light. I would use a multimeter and take a reading. Off the spree it should show >11V if it is charged.

Take the cylinder from the side panel into a locksmith they can make a key for it. Even without one to trace...have done it before with other locks.

In fact it holds suction up to 25 in/lbs on the out side to intake even when i turn the worm drive. Have a major plug. Any suggestions?...

Yes have a filter on it, the tank surprisingly was not that bad. Just 2 small surface spots about the size of a half dollar, that I was able to scrub away with some steel wool and a screw driver to move it around. I have a 20 gallon parts cleaner that I washed it out with so it was squeeky clean. It...

Just bought a rear brake cable new from a Honda dealer for like $10. Mine was frozen, as was my speedo and throttle cables. I bought the tool, and it worked on the front brake cable, but the others not to well. If you only have one that is broken, then go the easy route and just buy new. My dealer g...

Thanks Noise for the info, the gas leak happens within 2-5 seconds of the engine starting. Since the scooter is weathered, I think that I need to check the float needle and seat, and make sure the float, floats. It may have cracked and taken on gas, causing it not to seal. I thouhgt it could have be...

So I plugged in the spark plug, turned off the lights and turned it over, and there was a faint blue spark. Now with the spark plug in the starter can't tur...
