So i have a 88 sb50p that i am going to be parting out and wondering the value of parts.....the previous owner ran it without a fan shroud for a long time and it no longer runs....since its an "iowa" model, i was wondering what the value of the carb would be.....wondering if its any differ...

Is there a way to check the bendix without taking the side cover off? The bendix is the part that the starter rotates on/against right? What i mean is the starter goes trough a hole and rests against a sprocket in te side cover....that piece right? Sorry i am new to sprees and how they work

Found a good 84 spree, the only thing wrong was the starter was weak/bad.....i changed it out with a 85 spree starter and i can get it started with it but sometimes it doesnt engage and it just spins, and most of the other times it engages a couple of rotations and disengages.....anyone have that pr...
