Quick question regarding 2000 honda elite sr brake pad sizes
Just curious if anyone knows the correct brake pads I should buy for my 2000 Honda elite sr. By size, I mean the model and hole spacing. The link below has some options. http://www.monsterscooterparts.com/scooter-brake-pads.html I want to order the parts and have them ready before I take apart my sc...

Re: 2000 Honda elite sr moped slow on start up take off
Sounds good, I read through the section on the bystarter. Some good info there. I'll try out some of those avenues and go from there.

Re: 2000 Honda elite sr moped slow on start up take off

Hi all, So my 2000 Honda Elite SR moped (2700 miles) has always had the problem of slow, bogged down take offs for nearly as long as I've owned it. To sum it up, the problem goes something like this: Start up, idle just fine, take off, THEN I need to apply 3/4 throttle I'd say to get it over an acce...

Re: help!-2000 Honda Elite SR chugging after 1 month winter
Alright, so new updates after the carb cleaning. After running one more time after I thought the carb cleaning failed to fix the problem, the problem is gone (as far as I can tell). I've prob put on around 5 miles since then and there is no sputtering or lack of power. Maybe it just needed the whole...

Re: help!-2000 Honda Elite SR chugging after 1 month winter
I'll try that. Sounds like it could do the trick with how my throttle has been acting up when I give it more gas.

help!-2000 Honda Elite SR chugging after 1 month winter sit.
Hey everyone, This is my first post on the forum and hopefully somebody has an idea as to what's up with my Honda moped (2000 Elite SR with 2500 miles-In good shape), or that maybe the problem will subside on its own. My moped had sat for approx 1 month over winter break (I'm a college student) in M...
