i got it to engage, but when i start moving now it slippes, the bolt on the front sprocket comes loose

the teeth seem to be good

just bought this 86 spree yesterday, and whenever i go to kick it, it doesn't catch. I opened up the side case and nothing looks wrong. What should i check for?
