Re: JDM tailight plz help

Greetings: I think mine displayed the Kymco brand somewhere. For sure the licence illuminator window wasn't paper thin. Bait and switch? That's what it's looking like to me. There is no kymco badge anywhere and literally paper thin. I'm attaching a Pic and I set a screw on it the whole threaded are...

JDM tailight plz help

I got my tailight in 10 min ago. Box was crushed in, bulbs rattling around inside. When I bought it on eBay the pictures showed KYMCO molded into it. This one feels very cheap no kymco anywhere and the area on bottom where its supposed to be clear is cut out and has a clear plastic insert about as t...

While we are on the giving advise lesson, I am 27 and am balding with no help available from rogane. Any suggestions?

Oh man I'm sorry about that. Fortunately I don't have that problem. Shave it all and shine that dome up! Helps with air drag when you go for high speed runs!

Re: Advise wanted

Well I appreciate the chart! I'm thinking the 7.97 to 1 is my best option for now. Here's my update picture looks like I'm gonna be replacing all plastics. Thinking of all black plastic with the 94 SR red blue grey and white decals. A clean 20 year throwback in my opinion will look good. I work part...

Re: Advise wanted

Ahh so more possibilities with the secondaries, I agree then that would be a better choice especially for someone who isn't gonna stop tinkering and trying to get more out of it. I agree though the range in gears you suggested sounds like a good compromise no you don't get the top speed and no you d...

Re: Advise wanted

Greetings: Steve is correct, as usual. Doing both will get you gearing that is MUCH too tall - like 4:1 - which an automotive V8 can pull but not a ~75cc two-stroke. Taller gears generate more internal friction than shorter gears. Even if you can adjust the variator to maintain good engine RPM, the...

Re: Advise wanted

Greetings: 7.58s on Flash 5 went 71.2. Some say could be faster with 7.97s. Friction drag in the gearcase can slow you down. Well I honestly don't know much about the gearing at all. All i did was trial and error with jetting, weights, clutching and premixing to get a reliable fast bike. As far as ...

Advise wanted

Just scooped up an Elite and ordering parts but want some advise! I'm recently moved to Maine, I had a nice Arnada back home in Hawaii and Between my cvt and carb tuning it was a solid 75MPH on flat scoot. I did not however do gearing and was told it was 7 to 1. I want to do this again on my elite b...
