Re: AF18E DIO SK50M 65cc option??

OK, Bought a compression tester and a torque wrench. In process of ordering a malossi 70cc kit. I think I might need a new belt? I ordered one from daywot but it seemed very tight, entire drive train got insanely hot and it eventually snapped. Back to to the probably worn honda brand belt that came ...

Re: AF18E DIO SK50M 65cc option??

7500miles, I'm the 3rd owner, It is a 13 years old.

I have not done a compression test yet, I guess I should purchase that equipment. It goes really good on flat and up small hills, but we have some really steep hills, and i'm fat. Only really 6km commute most of the time. 6km of uphill or downhill.

Honda AF18E DIO SK50M Malossi 70cc Installation

I'm looking for a cheap way to get a little more power out of my scoot. I can get this 65cc? 43mm kit shipped for $74, it is the only 43mm kit i can find for the af18e. Seller claims i can use it with the stock 39mm head, does that make sense at all? http://www.ebay.com/itm/70cc-CYLINDER-KIT-for-HON...

Re: 2001 Honda Dio SK50?(Canada) Upgrade Options

Nice piston. It has got a nice speed hole in it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XVV_COOey0E Yeah, if i upgrade it, I'm just going to do the 72cc kit with rejetted stock carb and using the stock exhaust. If they sold a 65cc for af18 I'd get that. Right now i have 10,000km on stock piston, not sure h...

Re: 2001 Honda Dio SK50?(Canada) Upgrade Options

Thanks for your suggestion. I'm only looking for like 3mph more up big hills, or for windy days. My weight is 235, so maybe my other option is losing 40lbs.

2001 Honda Dio SK50?(Canada) Upgrade Options

I'm looking for a tiny bit more power for going up steep hills. Motor is AF18 40mph is max speed is all i need(already have it) I've already changed Variator and rollers. Can I install a 65cc-70cc kit, rejet the 14mm stock Carb, keep stock airbox, and use the stock pipe, or would the engine blow up?
