Honda Spree and Elite 50 Forums

I got another spree the other dayi cleaned it it idles great but dies the the throttle it turned. I think the fuel valve/ petcock is letting gas through constantly. the choke is also broke, I pulled it out and it runs the same. the idle speed will slowly speed up.
any suggestions?

cleaned and oiled filter. cleaned tank, cleaned carb twice, relpaced fuel line, fuel came out great, muffler was a problem totally plugged, and could not unplug, no air movement. Drilled 4 small holes in middle of muffler. worked well.

I got a 86 spree for $40 the other day. It has some electrical problems, and won't start from battery or jumping. It kicks and gets good spark. I cleaned and cleaned. I got it to run for 30 seconds at a time. the next day i took the covers off and it fired up and ran, i drove it for an hour starting...
