Well, if you checked everything else I would say check the reeds for any gap and if there is it is time to replace them.This seems to be an item that causes alot of problems and should be a maintenance item anyway at some point down the road for any 2 cycle engine.Let us know!

If your sure the belt or clutch is ok then there is a good chance it is the reeds.My scooter would have power the first few minutes it started but when it warmed it lost power.Does yours do this.Easy way to check is just start and let warm up on the stand then after a few minuteshold back brake on a...

get a new float and needle valve and replace them.Simple to do.May want to get a new bowl gasket also.Take the bowl off.Should be just a phillips scew holding the float pin in and slide the pin out of the float and remove along with the needle and reverse with new parts.

CDI compatibility

Would a CDI from a 84-87 spree work on my 85 Aero 50?I was just given the wiring on the connector on an 85' Spree and it is the same as my CDI plug and they go to the same places on the schematics, so I think it should work?Thanks

84 thru 87 spree owner needed

I need someone with an 84-87 spree to look at the plug on the CDI and tell me the order and color of the wires on the plug looking from the back as it is connected on the CDI.Would be a great help.thanks
