1985 Honda 50cc Aero oil pump part.
I'm looking for a oil pump shaft seal for my 85 Aero 50cc. Oil leaks past the seal and fills the crank case. Lots of noise and smoke when you first start it up. I use synthetic 2 cycle oil maybe that is part of the problem. If anyone know were I can get one, please let me know. Thanks - * PS see att...

Re: Up sizing front tire
Go the new 3.00x10 on the front and big difference in the ride and handling. Speedo difference is very little. Thanks again for the advice.

Re: Up sizing front tire
Thanks all. Bigger tire sure makes a difference on the rear. I'll order one out and have it on before the riding season is over. Mine is pretty close with stock tire ( GPS check ) but didn't want to see it off 5 mph or more. That would bug me. Thanks again.

Up sizing front tire
Hi Gang. If I replace the stock 2.75x10 with a 3.00x10 on my 85 aero, how far off with the speedometer be? I figure it will show less. I replaced the rear last year and it made a big difference in the ride.
Thanks all

Re: Waving
I put a post on this thread early spring and noted that I didn't wave to anybody. The reason was I only had about a hundred miles in the seat and thought I should keep both hands on the bars. But now that I have about 1200 miles behind me I'm much better in the seat and thought I would revise my pos...

Re: 85 Spree Looking for Panel Bolt Sizes
Click on link below. Shows most bolts sizes. The back one is not a bolt but a push-in plastic fastener. I found those cheap at the local auto parts store ( Autozone ). I've got a lot of good help from this NET. Welcome aboard. http://www.hondapartshouse.com/oemparts/a/hon/506b9cb4f870023420a20066/bo...

Re: Up-size tire from 2.75 x10 to 3.00 x 10
Update: Just got the new up-size tire installed on the Aero. Tire was a Kenda 413 3.00x10.0 and installed on the rear with stock rim. Pictures shows before and after and side view. Big tire looks great. Everything cleared fine except the valve stem. The tube came with a 90 degree stem and just touch...

Up-size tire from 2.75 x10 to 3.00 x 10
Hi All Got a 85 Aero 50 here and I seem to remember reading some time back that one can put a 3.00 x 10 tire on the rear to replace the standard 2.75 x 10 and use the stock rim and clearance would not be a problem. Did I imagine this or is this correct? I also seem to remember this will give you a t...

Re: Plug Chop Test. Looking for comments.
There was no ring at the bottom that I could see just the one about half way up that is shown in the picture. It was half way up and not completely around he insulater just one the one side. I took it that must be the side directly opposite from the exhaust port.

Plug Chop Test. Looking for comments.

I installed a new plug, warmed it up, ran around town for bout 5 miles then took her out in the county ran it wide open for a little better th...

Here's a link to the HONDAPARTSHOUSE.COM web site and it shows a #82. I don't know if that's going to much good for speed.
