Re: Ch80 restromod project
https://i.imgur.com/GO3PYTs.jpg It was pretty easy to get the motor in, flipped a ch80 mount, and shopped the limits off the ch250 mount. My donor was an elite 250. https://i.imgur.com/eqdQTxQ.jpg https://i.imgur.com/AE65Ytb.jpg I picked up this 2008 cf moto for 180 bucks, it think it might run wit...

Re: plugged carb float bowl
Buy a replacement carb off amazon Type "nq50 spree carburator" Pick the cheapest and fastest shipped one, bolt it up, mount the airbox to it and make sure the filter is good, if not there's a few venders here who sell filters. When you say you drilled out anything on a carb, you really did...

Re: NH125 Aero roller guides
So I would replace the variator and clutch assembly. I hate to send you on that quest but that pitting is gonna tear up belts. Scooter swap shop has performance aftermarket options or ebay will be your best bet. Make a wtb post in the for sale thread. But I personal would not reuse that pully setup ...

Re: 86 Spree not turning over
If your oil res is dry, try to trunt he motor over by kicking it, if it doesn't budge, pull the cvt cover. If the belt is snapped it could be wrapped up in everything. But I have a feeling since your oil is dry it may be seized up... wish you luck my friend.

Re: Ch80 restromod project
Well non photo update but I kinda wanted to test the waters and get an opinion or two. I acquired the ch250 along with a harness and the entire front forks off an elite, the bigger wheel, brakes, etc. Do I cut and weld the larger elite stem into place or do I try to modify elite 50 forks to fit and ...

Howdy meatball how do!
I thought itbs and carbies where the same thing but apprently carbies refers to carbs that are synced to each other. Itbs are just throttle bodies... I ordered some cbr 1000 throttle bodies for the miata.

Re: Ch80 restromod project
Well bad news, the kid who owned this before and I talked and he mentioned that he accidently removed a spring from the bottom of the motor. I did the valve lash today and its still at tdc but it has ridden about 100 miles probably without an oil pump or tensioner on correctly. It is in time but mak...

Soooo ita been a minute since ive wrenched on a motocycle so I brought a ch80 that kinda fell into my lap. 1400 original miles, original everything including the tires. Og must have drained all the fluids except the oil, its gas tank is minty. The oil was oem break in oil. Some young dumb kid brough...
