ya i have a bed cover

hey all, i have to go on a 10 hour trip, Im going to the Michigan department of corrections academy for 8 weeks and i would like to take my elite with me, can i lay it down in the back of my truck and when i get their let it sit up rite for awhile before i start it ?

so i went for my 1st long ride on my new to me 1999 elite s. it ran nice, top speed at 30mph, plenty of pep from a slow speed to top speed. so my question is that on 3 occasions when i did not come to a complete stop and then quicly sreed off it seamed to not do anything, the motor seamed to rev up ...

so i have a large chevy truck and im wondering what is the best way to get it in the bed by myself

Thanks, i see a good one for $40 on e-bay, so if i only do this will i have to re-jet or will it be ok ? and what belt sould i get the one for the sa50p or for a sa50 ?

I would like to change the belt on my 1999 elite and i cant remember where i read that you can remove something in the variator to make it faster, so if i do this do i have to re-jet ? im not looking to make it go supper fast i thought since i have it torn apart i can do this, or should i not bother ?

What type of oil do you put in, wet clutch or regular motor oil?

So after about 30 years of wanting a scooter i finally got one last weekend,now I only have to waite 4 months to ride it, lol
