Re: bike not moving after exhaust swap
If your clutch pads are worn out then the bell should be a nice, royal blue color by now..... clutch pads are brand new not even 50 miles on them. Greetings: I'd like you to specify if you ONLY swapped the pipe or if you installed some other components from your list in the first post. The transmis...

Re: bike not moving after exhaust swap
Friend told me I might have to go lighter on my weights. Said that's the chamber in the pipe might have to be filled in order for the bike to move. Was able to get the bike moving and had to Rev and Rev the bike. All I can say is that when it gets moving this s*** moves quick. Gonna try fine tuning ...

Re: oko airbox. good or bad?
Ddx airbox almost looks like the af18 airbox but comes with a bigger spigot.bonesv wrote:Never used one of those, but I heard the quality of some of the materials was not all that good.
Is this one similar to the infamous DDX air box I've heard about?

Re: yms 28mm pipe. whats your opinion? anyone running it?
i would say good pipe for stock bore, or cast. THe contessa seems like more of an aggressive bore vs the cast. You may rev to 9k with that pipe, but I bet your going to see peak power at 6-7500, then losing power 8k, hitting 9k if your lucky. Don't expect high rpm's or power, that being said its pr...

Re: yms 28mm pipe. whats your opinion? anyone running it?
Oh i c. Thanks I think I got to grab the 26mm cause I have the 28mm on my 72cc and my top speed so far has been 56mph. Wonder if I put on the 26mm it will make a difference on my top speed.1man8scoots wrote:50mm = 81.25cc.

Re: yms 28mm pipe. whats your opinion? anyone running it?
9k is pushing the power ceiling. The 28mm is for 50mm low revving bores, the 26mm is for 72cc low revvers, 30mm is for mini stroker 86cc+ low revvers. They don't fall apart as bad or quickly as a pg. They make a lot of grunt down low then taper off after 8k. So the 28mm is for the bores smaller tha...

Re: Sleeper Status
My setup is a 72 molassi cast, stock carb jetted with dd50 airbox, 8.4:1 gears, 28mm yms pipe. Top speed I got was 53mph flats. Trying to tune the carb and weights to make it a little faster. My friends setups hits 65 mph no problem.
