It's a stretch but it fits. A few washers on the axle and it clears the shock.

Re: My 98 Elite SR
Doing some work on my elite. Sourced a headset from the great bones. I decided to go with big brakes on this build. So far so good. Measure twice, make a cut, make another cut then the final cut after its mocked up. Then weld into place. I'll update this as I go. Straight forward so far. Here are so...

3.50 wide wheel tire size
What size tire would be needed for a 3.50 wide rear wheel on a sa50 elite? I have some 90/90 here but do I need or could I fit wider.
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Rehone to perfection?
Bunch on non believers... Same results can be achieved with plain old sand paper. Won't work on niksal played cylinders that stuff is too hard. Try it on a junk cylinder you'll see.

Hand hone with 220 wet/dry at 45 degrees in cris cross. Less chance getting hung up in ports. Easy

Thanks, I like the method bones did. I think that will be my choice. I've always wanted one so now it's time to get it done.

Dio headset on elite
What year headsets are you guys installing on your 94-01 elites? Which works best to install. I was planning on keeping the stock forks unless they need to be changed in order to install the headset. Thanks

Re: Honda elite corsa jetting issues
Have you pressure tested engine after assembly. No amount of jet changes will cure leaking crank seals or gaskets. Should hold 6psi for 15 minutes. Your hanging idle is a symptom of a vacuum leak. You should be mid to upper 40 range on pilot jet.

Re: My 98 Elite SR
Thanks, I like how it's turning out so far. Still a bit more work on the pipe then I'll try it out. It's setup for the corsa's timings so it should work well. It's actually very light because there is no packing. Extra performance, right?
