trying to start my SA50P

when I kick it over it kicks good a few times then wants to bind up...

just asking if there is something obvious that others have experienced, I'm thinking I'll pull the belt cover later today..

Want to get it fired up as I think the banana peel is going to get parted out...

Re: fuel valve w/bbk?

I'll have to do some more research, I remember certain bikes had a lever that screwed to the petcock, which was like an extension...

will probably just do a new stock one.

Even in my short history with vacuum petcocks, I've had some failures.
Why worry ?...one and done.

Does anyone know if there is a manual valve that bolts right in place of the vacuum one?

Re: fuel valve w/bbk?

right now the stock carb, and it is leaking from the drain screw on the bottom of the float bowl, so the needle/seat/float bowl doesn't apply. Since it doesn't stop leaking I know it is not shutting off the fuel valve, otherwise it would have quit when the float bowl was empty... come to think of it...

fuel valve w/bbk?

Hey all, getting closer to starting my elite E pit scooter build. took it across town the other day and filled it with fuel, I noticed after that the stock vacuum fuel valve isn't working. The carb is dripping fuel so I know the valve is not shutting off. My question is, does the stock valve flow en...

Re: First scooter build

Just back from the DMV, did title search, nothing existing, and since it is 49cc, and a restricted model the nice lady at Benton County set up up with a Moped Plate and submitted for a title! So most of the parts are acquired for the SB50 Build. started accruing parts for the second build... guess I...

Re: First scooter build

Sounds like what you are looking for. I...

Re: First scooter build

Don't think I am going to pick up the '87 SE50 it's missing half the body work and I have enough projects right now..

Although it is SUPER CHEAP, Might be able to sell the AF05 out of it to pay for itself.....
