Re: Honda Spree 139QMB GY6 swap.
New handlebars with BMX stem on. They're TOO low now. I'll sport them for now, but will buy another set soon, somewhere between this height and stock handlebars. http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/hh9/Arexevyn/Killing%20Spree/13667864_10204838542962174_2335608249393304584_o.jpg http://i252.photobuck...

New white walls and LED headlight bar from eBay. BMX stem also came in, but the drag handlebars are still a day or two away. http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/hh9/Arexevyn/Killing%20Spree/13692885_10204817784923236_8652151926843709801_o.jpg http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/hh9/Arexevyn/Killing%20...

Re: Honda Spree 139QMB GY6 swap.
One of the arms for the clutch broke recently. Ordered a new one from 02starrider on eBay. His parts haven't failed me yet, so I'll stick with'em. And they get here FAST (always a day or two ahead of schedule). Old broken clutch: http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/hh9/Arexevyn/Killing%20Spree/IMG_20...

Re: Honda Spree 139QMB GY6 swap.
Weighed the whole setup today. With about 1/3 tank of gas, it weighs 145lbs. Exhaust is on now. It's OBNOXIOUSLY loud @ WOT. Idle sounds good. And it looks good. My buddy sitting on the scooter. He's over 6ft tall and weighs as much as me: http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/hh9/Arexevyn/Killing%20Sp...

Re: Honda Spree 139QMB GY6 swap.
Been a while since a post. Purchased a 6"x10" spun aluminum gas tank (1 gallon) and "150cc header" off of eBay. Also purchased a Polini roller set (4.5gram through 6gram set I believe) and 1500rpm Naraku torque spring. Supposed to be here within a week. Also thinking of removing ...

Wiring Harness cleaned up and taped up. Re: Honda Spree 139QMB GY6 swap.
Almost done now. Road it up and down the street for over an hour today. Buddy managed to get it to 51 mph. Not bad, considering we're still working on carb tuning. Put the 90 jet in the 20mm carb that came with the kit. Zip tied up whats left of the harness. Trimmed about 1/2 and inch off the upper ...

Re: Honda Spree 139QMB GY6 swap.
Wow! That's spree is going to fly with that motor. I'm thinking 70 GPS verified. :nervous: 70 would be crazy. lol. I'm hoping for 45-55. But I'm a heavier guy. Also gonna have to play with different variator roller weights to get the right amount of acceleration. I think we used the 8 gram o...

Re: Honda Spree 139QMB GY6 swap.
Did some work on the brakes. Bolted the caliper to the forks and modified the original Spree brake lever. Unbolted it and ground off what I didn't need, then bolted the brake lever from the Big Chief onto the bar, Front hydraulic disc brake now: http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/hh9/Arexevyn/Killin...
