Re: circlip destroys cylinder and freezes piston... help
ok nvm. i got the d*** thing out, but i am worried about my brand new crank bearings. i dont remember what it felt like to turn the crank over by hand. it certainly doesnt turn freely but it isnt rough and there is no play. is this in the realm of normal?

Re: OK to keep idle screw "high" in cold AM?
i am having the same problem on cold starts. she starts up fine but bogs out w/ any throttle or just dies from so few rpms until warm. i am going to swap the bystarter and see if this fixes the issue.

Re: spree electrical problem: headlight and gauge
correct. when the bike is running the headlight and cluster light do not illuminate, but everything else listed above does. and when the bike is off but ignition is in run position, tail and brake illuminate.

spree electrical problem: headlight and gauge
i dont know how long this has been an issue, but i my head light/gauge light will not illuminate. turns and turn indicator work, oil light works, but not highbeam indicator. only electrical quirks for the bike: disconnected horn, aftermarket LED integrated tail/brake/turns. the turns don't blink/chi...

Re: bad crank seal?
thanks wheelman
shop was cool about it. they said they were going to yank out the the old seal and press in a new one w/out splitting the case ( in an effort to save on labor, that im not paying for). is this a viable means of replacement?

Re: spree carb questions: tuning 44mm BBK
it looks like i still have a leak at the exhaust port. i already replaced the gasket w/ a new OEM crush gasket. but i can't get it to seat/seal as burnt oil/gas is dripping onto the case below. one idea is 1 or both of the exhaust flanges is bent but that seems like a stretch. has anyone else had di...

Re: spree carb questions: tuning 44mm BBK
i rechecked for air leaks using carb cleaner(didnt feel like buying starter fluid just for this). and again there was no rpm increase. but i fully documented its behavior from cold to hot: cold starts easy but immediately starts w/ crazy high idle and back wheel spinning very fast and dies very quic...
