buy the 1996 for $600 and put the 99 up for sale for $550 obo $100 or so for a perfectly new elite, can't beat it.

I don't really like the looks of it. I do like the color matched frame. I just got done customizing my Kawasaki Vulcan over winter. I would rather be different than buy a stock bike. Thats just me. Just use hand signals. I wouldn't worry about it. I've had to streetbikes that I took off and smoothed out where the blinkers use to go. Never had a problem.
