Like everyone has said its either the bystarter or its running too rich. Test the bystarter, ther is a document in the tech doc forum. If it works it may just be running too rich and when it gets warmed up its too much.

Probably the same thing that makes you think you are better than everyone. A general lack of knowledge and no sense of direction. Fortunately for most of us its just scooter related stuff. You on the other hand seems to possess these traits in your day to day interactions with other human beings.

I have been using a valve cover breather all summer. I do have to clean it alot, but it comes right off, I also re-jetted to compensate for more air, but it works great.

As they say in the real world gents "there is no replacement for displacement." Never have truer words been spoken. Mod for mod a 125cc motor will walop a 50cc, period.

No-way, thats the whole beauty of 50cc scooters in CO. Not too mention the cylinders that come with the bore kits still have the 49cc cast into them!!!

Gamemedic you raise an interesting issue. I know my petcock is a leaker, I actually have a replacement sitting on my bench. I was thinking that may be part of the reason for the bad starting but didn't want to mention it for two reasons. 1-to see if anyone thought that might be the problem, confirmi...
