Af16 Crank Seals
From what I can see, my AF16 swap has some oil leaking into the crank case down behind the variator. I havent checked behind the stator but everything looked dry when i took the fan cover off last. Can I just order them and pound them in with a socket?

Re: NCY Exhaust Jetting AF16
I agree. start rich and work your way stoich. your engine will thank you. lol with stock air box stock cylinder and aftermarket exhaust, 90-95 sounds like a good starting point. you said it has a 78 stock? was the original muffler a restricted version? if it was, taking out the restrictor washer wo...

Re: My first scooter, White 86 Aero
Who is ready for another quality post? OH YEAH, ITS YOU :coolcruise: :coolcruise: :coolcruise: Just kidding, this might be boring. I've been a little busy and trying to sneak in stuff so that we can at least ride these things before it gets cold. I felt a little guilty taking a clean running af05 of...

Re: Red 85 Aero "build"?
Time for update woo. Keepin the forum alive, wooo! This weekend I spent some time working on both scooters. The wife is starting her job so i have time to myself in the garage (I love my wife, we just usually do stuff that's not getting frustrated at scooters for 4 hours straight) So for this scoot ...

NCY Exhaust Jetting AF16
I have an otherwise stock bike, grabbed an NCY pipe for it. I was curious if anyone has run the same thing and could give me a ballpark for jetting. Stock is 78. Someone said to go to 95 and work my way down but that seems like it might be a bit much lmao. I know that nobody can give me an exact num...

Re: Elite SR problems
Thanks for this post very cool. I know my scoots blow out smoke when I first start them up, but I probably wouldnt have bothered to open up the pump like that. Makes it seem more approachable

Re: My first scooter, White 86 Aero
New Update: Replaced the starter, but it still doesnt engage 100% of the time. The bendix will pop out like its supposed to after a little greasing, but it seems like it doesnt always catch? I dunno how they work inside 100%, but I am pretty sure its the issue. If anyone has one for an AF16 that wou...

Re: NB50 Front tire mod
Awesome, I'll see if I can get the elite brake plate mocked up and have someone install an 80/90 for me. Not sure if I wanna try mounting on tubeless. Either way met front and rear will be a nice upgrade. It has a 90/90 on it now so might see how bad that rubs

NB50 Front tire mod
I grabbed a met front wheel and I have an sa50 brake plate to go along. THey should generally be the same size. I might even have access to another brake plate, so pretty happy about that as I have two aeros. I know a 2.75 rubs the speedo cable a little. I think I can tie it out of the way though. I...

Re: My first scooter, White 86 Aero
Another post. My buddy and I found a 200 dollar Elite SR for sale in rural indy. We knew that it ran and had pretty good plastics on it. He wanted the plastics and I wanted pretty much everything else. We drove out and got the thing, it ran like crap, but it ran and that was good enough. Last weeken...
