turn it around? doesn't the needle just fit downward? Would this be a cause for no slack? Also how to deal with flooded engine? Pilleazze!

Is there any way to bleed the fuel from the engine not just from the carb? Should I just wait it out? Got it turned over but then had to make throttle adjustments. I would like to use that option as last resort, it is possible for it to run without the vaccum line hooked up. I' ll give ebay a shot. Thanks.

Thanks for responding so quickly. The hoses are hooked up correctly, I've been through the service manual etc. a million times. The fuel comes out of both hoses when unattached.
