do the swap!! If I had access to a 125 engine I'd have already done that swap! only thing you have to do is reinforce the frame a bit so it doesn't buckle.

I heard they went for $850 new.

These people that want $650 for a used one with 5K miles are insane. :?

updated my first post. I just picked up some K329's special order through CycleGear since they are listed as a reseller of Kenda products. Cost me $14.95 a tire (list price) and $2 shipping, should be here in roughly 3 days.

the spree tank is 2.5 liters or 0.66 US gallons and should give you 50-80 miles per tank, so per gallon that should equal 75-120 mpg.

I'm almost certain my poor mileage is due to my carb being varnished, everything else has already been ruled out.

I end up running at full throttle frequently to make the thing go fast enough to keep up with traffic. I'm considering switching to a BPR7 since they say an 8 works best for 'extended high speed riding'. I would do the 8 but a colder plug typically makes starting more difficult. each model # is a te...

I'm getting really poor mileage also at the moment. I wonder if I need to disassemble my carb and clean it. I'm getting roughly 40 miles a tank which is about half what I should get.

the oil pump gearshaft floats between the pump and the crank. It isn't physically connected to either one, just make sure you engage both sides of the shaft gears before trying to screw the pump back in (all the teeth mesh)

the only thing the spree has is looks. styling is better than the aero or elite line. not to mention the spree is the 'worlds best selling scooter' according to honda's historical page.
