there is no petcock

i don't understand what the fuel petcock is, i have a fuel line going to the scoot, but i am talking about the line just above the oil line going to the intake manifold/carbourator.

i talked to a friends mother who knows alot about mini-bikes and carbourators, and she told me that the extra needle on my spree (the one on the intake manifold, close to the oil line.) was a vacume tube, and to plug it. so my dad and i plugged it today, and i started up the scooter very easly, and ...

it does get 50 mpg, unfourtunately... the tank is only a half gallon or so

yes, i cleaned it out about a week ago.

i think i did it. i changed the c-clip from the 5th position (rich) to the 3rd. it starts up better now, but it still doesn't go any faster. i can hear the engine turning... could it be the belt slipping?

anyone know a good large scooter? i am 15 and want to ride a motorcycle someday, but in michagan you have to be 17 before you can get your license and all that rot, so i wanna know what kinda of mopeds they make that are fast.

there is nothing in the manual that says anything about the size of the needle. it talks about the needle on page 31, but all it talks about is disasembling it.
