I really appreciate your help, the fitting closest the tank is fuel to the carburetor and the bottom fitting is vacuum to the intake manifold, but what is confusing to me is that I just disconnected the hose from the carburetor to drain the tank and the fuel all drained out, I thought there had to b...

Thanks zz28zz, but what I need to know is if it needs vacuum to open the fuel flow, if it does mine is no good and I bought it from a honda dealer a few months ago, do thes things go bad often?

Fuel tank drain valve

I have a 1989 Honda Elite 50E SB50P, the valve on the gas tank has two fittings coming off it, one is for fuel and the other is for I believe vacuum, how is this valve suppose to work, I blew air in the valve and air comes out, so I'm confused on how it is suppose to work, thank you

On a 1989 Honda Elite 50 SB50P, my petcock has two lines coming off of it, is one for vacuum and the other for fuel?

One other question, where do you think I could install a shutoff valve for the fuel take, where I can shutoff the fuel when I store it and I can get to the shutoff valve without taking the sides off

Oil in carburetor

I took the air cleaner off my 1989 Honda Elite 50 and noticed oil that puddled in the back of the carburetor, is this normal?
