About 375┬░ is the max you want to see after a WOT run and closing the throttle (lean condition).

You are aware the the needle will NOT effect the WOT mixture? You need to change the jet to do that.

Re: 85 honda spree won't start
A cold engine should not start if you give it any throttle as the bystarter stops supplying extra fuel for the cold start. Warm engine is a different ball game.

And this is why my non-kick start 1985 Spree always has one of these on it when in the garage more than overnight. Well all my scooter get this, kick start or not.

Look at the engine number on the engine, it will tell you what year the engine is.

There will be a small amount of "fuel bounce" into the lower end of the vacuum line when the engine is running. There should be no fuel above about half way up.

Re: Mikuni TM32 gas overflow, need help rerouting the fuel
You can but the overflowing is from either a stuck open needle or a maladjusted float level and will cause you running issues and mpg problems.

Re: '86 Spree electric start problem
I have an86 and haven't ridden in a while and went to start with a fully charged battery and it wont start either. Also, I hear no clicking noise. Try the same thing with the relay wiring harness. http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r206/Bear-45-70/Emoticons/5If5Ke5Fc3N23l53Hdc3v12fc8c683c101556.jpg

There is no such thing as running after 20 years in storage. It takes work to make them run after that long. Up to two years maybe, but 20? Never happen.
