Hi Mystere 1, I got the springs from TopGear. The guys there were great. They shipped it out right away. Now the big question - in one of your posts, you said you were using the red springs but you were going to try the yellow ones. Which ones worked out the best? I plan on doing this mod this weeke...

Life expectance

I've had my spree for awhile and it has about 4200miles on it. Its stock and never been apart, and runs very well and I take care of it. It's my to and from work vehicle. My question is how long will the engine go for? What kind of mileage are people getting from there scooters with normal usage?

Hi
I would have E-mailed him direct but his address is not listed in the member listing. I also tried to send a private message but it won't send. It still is just sitting in my out box. I believe that I brought this to your attention.

Mystere1 Please help

Hi I've been all over Winnipeg looking for those Leo Vince clutch springs, with no luck. Can you give me the name and number of the place in Edmonton that you got yours? I want to see if they'll send a set to me. Also your 1" longer belt, what kind is it? Do you have a part number? And where di...

They probably didn't want to help. But that's ok you can change the tire's yourself and save some money. It's really straightforward. I just did it and it only took 1.5 hr to do both, and it was the first time I've done anything like this. I put a post up before on how to do it.

Silicon spray is a lubricant and all it is used for in this case is to help the tire mount better

This is easy; I'm going through it right now. - For the front wheel remove the brake, and speed-o cable then remove the axe nut and axle and the wheel will fall out. - For the rear you have to remove both body panels and the muffler. Then the large nut that holds the wheel on. The wheel should pull ...

I did clean the rim well and lubricated with silicone spray.
The tire brand is Chenetshin.
Mounting the tire is not the problem; it's just when I lower the tire presser to 25 psi as the tire side wall calls for the bead slips down and doesn't sit right. Any help would be great.
Thanks

Tire replacement

Hi all I had to replace my rear tire on my Spree. So I went down to the dealership to buy a set of 2.5X10 replacements. The guy at the store said that they cross over to an 80/90X10. I got home and mounted the tires no problem (I thought). When it came time to set the bead I run about 120psi the bea...

Left Crankcase Cover Gasket?

Hi All
Does anyone know if I take the left crankcase cover off to change the drive belt, if I have to change the gasket? Or is it reusable? Or does it even need a gasket?
