You could try a product called cable lube. Maybe the best would just be to get a new throttle cable. yeah, I agree..if the cable is bent and not straight and such it would be best to just get a new cable. As for sludge I don't see why you couldn't get something to clean it out..I've seen some wicke...

Just follow the cable down to see if it is bent or twisted..It might have sludge on the inside of the cable causing it to get "stuck" too

I wanted to drill out one baffle myself just to make the bike a bit louder but I couldn't reach any baffles..so how much louder did that one baffle make and what did it make it sound like?

I checked the plug and after however many miles the color is still pretty light..I'm not liking it..A week ago I adjusted the throttle needle and put it in the bottom notch I believe as with the cooler weather to richen it up some as I know the colder weather leans the mixture I am running the stand...

technically by removing the restrictor on the front clutch and drilling the exhaust your moped is still stock
