Re: Dd50 rotory kit
I had brackets custom made, the rotor only hits the stator if the bracket breaks, and that's why I said a new bracket had to be designed and made, and that's what I did. It's tightened down, that's the special nut included in the kit. We have alot more experience here with dio ignition kits then mos...

Re: Dd50 rotory kit
Sorry I thought we where talking about the taida kits?, yes the mvt is adjustable, and with my custom bracket no need to reset the rotor if you want more then the slot has, just move it to an extra set of holes

Re: Dd50 rotory kit
Timing is not adjustable on a taida kit without some modification, and even then I don't think you can get back to 0 degrees, the bracket I had made let you go to like maybe negative 2 if that

Re: Dd50 rotory kit
Imagine the stock trigger bump on the mag being 3/8 to 1/2" longer at the beginning, that would advance the timing "X" amount of degrees and that's exactly what they did on taida kit1man8scoots wrote:What do you mean by forward of stock trigger

Re: Dd50 rotory kit
Keyway are to set timing, but not needed, we have had the "taida" version since last year July I think? It's not bad but there are issues some major some not First is the timing on the mag is set advanced, idk why but the"trigger" point is about 3/8 to 1/2" forward of a stoc...

Re: Dd50 rotory kit
ive been down this road, the only kits that work are taida, daytona and koso. Koso and daytona kits, if you can get them are $550-700. Taida is $299 and I have a few coming in to test. Someone in hawaii is selling the MVT modofied to fit, but what he doesn't realize is it won't fit. People should i...

It depends on the crank, the older elites with a af09 might have a shorter stroke- 87 elite,85-87 aero and the sa 88 elite Lx But is the stroke is 41.4mm On a 94 and Up Elite S and SR,and the corsa is a 47mm piston that's 71.8cc But I think strokeitimports.com has it listed as a 40.4 which would com...

Honda super dio zx , af28, wider belt, 3 pin rear drive instead of 2 pin ,like the elite S, or a Japan model af27 or lower Lots of people run it because it can handle a bit more power, but at the same time it's a heavier set up then a stock trans. So unless your build some crazy 110cc + monster ,jus...

Most times it's gonna break around the bushings in the case so the crack would be very evident, something that i could see with my bare eyes? Or could be hair line I would tap it softly and see if there is tone difference between to the 2 sides, typically a hollow sound is cracked a solid thud is n...
