Noiseguy can be quoted for maximum truth on this one... Most of my problems started when I decided I was smarter than the "do not bend warning". I lucked out and managed to get the shard of valve out of the bottom end without having to separate the case... but don't count on luck. Replace ...

Point of Interest.

You may wish to disconnect your battery from the scoot before attaching a charger.

Let's do the easy checks first: -Kill Switch to "on' position -Left brake handle squeezed You hit the "start" button, and you get nothing... Is your battery still holding a charge (or, in this case, enough charge). Take a look at your lights as you hit the start button. Do they all bu...

Do us all a favor. Wear a full face helmet. You want reasons? 1) You're less likely to incur a headwound when you're wearing skull armor (for your sake). 2) Chicks Dig them. Besides, where else are you going to put your "Helmet Laws Suck" sticker? 3) If you get injured, then the insurance ...

Someone once told me "Ain't the volts what kill ya... It's the AMPS". I'm pretty sure that the amperage that rolls out of a full sized automotive battery is much greater than the available amperage in our teensy stock batteries. I've read (not experienced, don't know for certain) that link...

Darat, put this dead horse out to pasture, wouldya?

MySpree... this is old news from when the forum got discombobulated, and came back with a look you didn't like. You're back to being the biggest wrench in the toolbox again. Everything's back to normal.

I'm getting (GPS Checked) about 26 mph top speed with the stock setup on flat ground. I weigh about 220lbs, though, so that can't help. The speedo will tell you I'm going 30, but it's fibbing.

Okay... I did this before, and it cost me a crank... So: By the numbers. 1) If you start getting * off, walk away. I didn't, and it cost me 2) Find yourself a crank puller. Darn, Sarcasm never comes through. I was just pointing out that the locked post from our Moderator shoots itself in the foot pretty handily.

Stock Spree? I'm pretty sure that everyone still running a spree is doing so with help from the salvage yard.

It reminds me of that Johnny Cash song, One Piece at a Time.

Scoot and Spell

Dear Pot, The Kettle Called... This is probably forum suicide, but I'd like to make the following additions to the new "Spelling Police Decree". 1) 'I' is always capitalized. 2) 'A' is a word. 'u' is not a word. 3) 'Is' takes the same amount of time to type as 'iz'. Do it properly, unless ...

At home, I have DSL through Verizon.

At work, we have a Business Grade Cable Modem through Optimum Online.

~took a glimpse through the earlier posts, like I should've in the first place, and read up on a few google searches If I recall correctly, the '89 elite E intake has a brass connector sticking out of it's "neck". The one from '90 doesn't... In the '90, the fuel, oil and vaccuum lines all ...
