U sure Dillan? Heck, I was gonna order one, gonna take a close look at my speedo. I know the guys at VT have one for our bikes, or at least I think they do. Just checked, Yup different, won't fit, plastic is different, that sucks. Gonna email VT and see if they have something as well as the ebay sel...

Ran it today, kinda ran a hair rich but wasn't fully warmed up. I did a few easy runs, didn't hesitate though. With the kickstand up and rear wheel in the air, reving it you could tell it was slightly rich. Riding it however you couldn't, it ran very good. I gunned it yes I did. It reached 38mph, a ...

That will work and its cheap. Here is a Ebay seller that sells Honda speedo's BUT they are in KPH, he does not have them in MPH. 88kph = 55mph, 104 kph is 65mph and 120 kph is 75 mph. The speedo's are nice, some have digital tach as well. Here is a link http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewIte...

Polini Corsa Kit Owners Read This

Well, Finally got my Polini Corsa kit from Daywot on ebay. After I purchased it I asked him a few questions and he would not answer. He can communicate when he wants to and be difficult at times as well. The Polini kit is a nice kit. The exhaust port is ported out. The piston skirt also has a cut ou...

Yeah VT in Hawaii and I am in Florida! I found a 1 mm drill bit which should leave me with a 100 jet. I drilled the stock jet and reassembled it. Compression COLD is 155 psi, I can't imagine hot. Starter struggled abit to crank it over. The polini Corsa is a nice cylinder but it can be better. Seems...

I have a stock Sr50 factory unrestricted. Mine tops out at 35 , slows to 32 on a incline and sppeds to 38 downhill. I would find it hard to believe that the engine would get to top out with a taller gear such as a 9 to 1 although some here has said so. It probably will give you a faster speed but no...

Who did you buy it from? Did you trial fit it and see if it still worked anyway? If it does, those numbers should give you somewhere near just above 9 to 1.

Well, thats one problem. You have to take a compression check with a hot engine. You are supposed to run it at idle for a while, then do a compression check. The pressure when cold doesn't matter. The engine isn't cold when running. When the engine warms up and everything expands, thats when the com...

I wouldn't use another piston unless you fix that cylinder. Yes, SEARS sells a small brake coning cyinder kit. I would get that and some light oil, any light oil. Adjust the honer with light to medium presure, hone, oil wipe, hone oil wipe, checking it each time you wipe till you just see a criss cr...

You sure its 15 x 42? I KNOW for SURE that 16x42 is a 9 to 1 and a 17x41 is 8:44 to 1. These are for Final drive gears now. I would think if its 15 that the other gear has to be 43 for it all to fit and work but I could be wrong. Thats all I know. I just ordered a set of 17x41 from an ebay seller at...

Where do you come up with this? A stock derestricted engine won't pull a 9 to 1 and if it did, it would bog down at the first incline or headwind. My stock factory derestriced does 35 and slows down 33 on a slight incline or really strong headwind. Like wise down that same incline does 38 and with a...

Yeah that can happen. The problem is the aluminum piston is made of aluminum in order to keep the weight down, less counter weight on the crank is then needed and a smoother running engine. Aluminum expands quicker and more so than steel. So, if the tolerance are not right , say the piston is a tigh...

Dac, I have seen some of stillspeedings posts, don't worry. As for a 125cc kit, nope , I am not getting that kit, its a stroker kit and I am not up for machining my case. All you have to do is a search in ebay for hinda dio and you will find autotech355 stuff for sale. I want a reliable every day ri...
