87 Elite Gears

Does anyone make gears for the 87 Elite? I just got a Service Manual and saw that the SE50 has 10.243 gears. My SE50P only has 11.097 gears. I may just get the Elite S gears if nobody makes any.

63cc big bore install question

Just got my Polini 63cc big bore for my 87 Elite. Im tryin to put it together now. There are no markings on the rings. One fits in the groove snug, the other kinda loose. Which one on top? Does the diamond mark on the piston go on the exhaust side?
thanks

Same thing happened to me. I have an 87 SE50P and brother has 87 SE50. The exhaust is different. The SE50 is bigger. I put the SE50 muffler on my bike and went just as fast as the SE50. Only 34mph though, up from 27mph. That is the only difference I noticed.

Big bore

Im still pretty new to this scotter stuff. How do you get more cc's by using the same size piston and your stock crank? It looks like ebay just has the piston and head.
thanks

Advance the timing

Does anybody ever advance the timing on their scooters? I know on go-karts people will actually advance the flywheel (piece w/ the magnet) so the magneto will spark sooner or later. Anybody done this? I tried searching but found nothing.

87 Elite Jets

I am about to drill my exhaust and add a paper air filter. Everything else is stock. What size jet should I get. The honda store says they only have an 85. What model would have a 90. Can I drill them? What size in Inches is the 85 or 90?
Thanks for the help.
