when it is in there correctly how is it supposed to look?

I recently took my carb off to clean it and I started putting it back on today. I bolted the carb on and then screwed in the throttle slide. The throttle (twist handle) does not seem to turn like it did before, and it does not spring back, Do I need to oil the carb slide? Thanks.

Well I know it used to fit in there and I am just wondering how to get it back. The piece looks like it fits its just too hard to push in there. If someone knows how to do this please help. If not I can post a pic of what I am talking about.

what type of tygon tubing would you buy if you were going to do this?

When I took off my carb the black tube that connected it to the airbox fell off. I tried to get it back in but the tube is way too big to get back in the small hole even when I push hard. Its just rubber so I am sure I could force it but is there any easier way to get this done?

How do I unhook the throttle cable on an 85 spree?

I might just be really bad at searching but is there an article that gives details on how to take a carb off? The manual is fairly vague. Sorry if this has been covered 100 times. Thanks.
