*, i unbolted the ignition off my spree and , drove over to the the local honda cycle shop, and told em to make me a pair of keys.

AFAIK they sell em 2 at a time.

But on the off chance they dont correct things, (010 vs 306) You think will it be an issue?

cleaned the carb a second time consisting of removing the bowl and shooting carb cleaner through all the Brass tubes. A detailed carb disassembly as posted on this site was not done. I also did a visual on the reeds, it appears one side may have a very small gap. On the order of 1/64" or (.0156...

i replaced the Petcock with a spare and the air filter is clean. i also did a half assed cleaning of the carb. The spark plug was pulled for observation (w/o) doing a chop) the result revealed the end of said plug is dark and appears to be covered in oil. based on that alone Id say its prob running ...

ran out of gas, refilled, now scoot wont go over 15 mph

the title pretty much says it all.

i was out riding the spree to see exactly how many miles i get on one tank.
Well i found out, 32 miles per tank full to bone dry.

Now however my spree wont go more than 15 mph at WOT.
