Yeah it's all BS. No way he would be able to do 65mph on an SE50. Plus the only people that have geared out SE50 is on this forum and its all custom work. And they still haven't hit 65mph yet. (NO SAYING THEY WON'T just that they haven't YET)

honda dealer wont have weights. try vtcycles for weight pack, or daywot on ebay. you have bought a "keli" variator, weights included are probably 7-8g invest in this if you'd like to tune properly: http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=93543 Or if your planning ...

One thing about stock Elite gears. The max you can do on them is 52mph. That's 52mph with big bore, exhaust, pully, carb, intake. blah blah blah blah.... And that's me bombing a hill. Soooo...now that you only have a bore kit for your elite and nuttin else...I don't think you will find what your loo...

That's what I mean stock everything. It's like this...you can't do an exhaust with out the correct carb. YOu want top speed? You need a better pully. Those gears don't do anything for you unless you upgrade everything else. Big bore kit is probably just getting you all rev happy.

You look at you roller weights? I know sometime when I put in new roller weights....and I rev my engine the weights aren't yet set in and so they will sit inside the ramp and not engage. Until I really give some throttle and then It will get a hard *. The noise I don't know....there are different ki...

Since you have stock everything...it might take you awhile to go past 40. So Ride it out on full throttle and see if it inches away from 40.

Now remember... Heavier roller weight will give you a better top end. What have you done with you springs?

we use a trans washer between the ramp & boss, this drops the belt on the front pulley and gives more toque off the line, you can also use shims, you can also use a center spring saver bearing which also helps to dial in the trans just right ! i use both  OH MAN! I should have thought of t...
