You mean its a clogged jet in the carb? Sprees dont have a fuel pump. It is a gravity system.

Cool, so you chopped off the stock signals like I was thinking. Is that you in the clown suit?

This is actually the one I was thinking about:

Hopefully it will clean out my bystarter fuel passage. My 81 Datsun is the next seafoam victim.

I just did the seafoam trick. Instead of injecting it through the idle screw hole, I took off the bystarter and just poured it in that way. Then drained it with the drain screw. I think I got another 1-2 mph but I put an ounce in my tank of gas so Im not expecting too much speed until that has burne...

Are you guys gonna be selling new scooters? You should look into that. Get a dealers lisence and you should be able to pick up scoots for half of msrp and make like 700-1000 profit on each one.

Just give it a little spray in the intake while you're cranking it over. I dont have my side panels on, so that makes it alot easier. I keep a can strapped to the rack. I only need to do that on cold starts. If it has run in the last 3 hours it fires right up without it. Its kind of a bandaid soluti...

If its like mine, it does that but runs fine after its warmed up. I think it may be due to an autobystarter problem or plugged enrichment jet in the carb.

I give mine a shot of starting fluid in the intake and it gives it a little help warming up. After that, its fine.

I would just cap off the oil lines and put about 2 oz of oil in with every full tank of gas. I have been doing this for like the last 4 tanks and its worked fine for me. When mine had oil issues, my spree totally shut off going down the road. It still runs ok though. You probably just overheated it.

I had that done with an old toolbox I had. They used some numbers on the lock to go by. Call around to a few locksmiths.
