Yes - you should have a kickstart. All '83 and '84 Aeros had them. Are you sure you're not just missing the lever?

Aero vs. Aero - Can anyone tell me the difference between the engines in the following models:

'83-'84 Aero NB50M
'85 Aero NB50M
'86-'87 Aero NB50

What does the "M" mean and is there any difference between the '85 engine and the '83-'84?
